Opportunity

Life Supports, a respected player in psychological health and wellbeing, approached WOO with a compelling challenge. While their website excelled in SEO, it lacked the emotional resonance they desired. Life Supports sought a brand that would authentically convey their warm, friendly, and accessible identity. They also aimed to simplify the process of connecting individuals with the help they needed during trying times. The rebrand brief was succinct: create a positive, trustworthy, and inclusive brand, free from clinical aesthetics, appealing to a diverse audience from early 20s to 60+, and fostering human connection without relying on portraits.

 

Our solution

Our journey to meet Life Supports' aspirations began with an immersive workshop to uncover their vision for the new brand. The starting point was a complete reimagining of the logo and visual identity, which needed to radiate warmth, welcome, and humanity. We created a friendly, refined wordmark that stands as a reassuring pillar of support. This wordmark, crafted from a humanist, geometric typeface with gentle curves, embodies the values of comfort and reliability.

In terms of supporting brand visuals, we explored the vital role that Life Supports plays in connecting clients with therapists. We introduced an energetic, bold colour palette and intersecting geometric forms, symbolising optimism and hope. This approach aligns with Life Supports' mission of being a beacon of light in times of need. We also extended this visual identity into a social media template, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence that matched the brand's ethos. 

 

Website

The website underwent a complete transformation to simplify the user experience, acknowledging the often overwhelming nature of seeking help during challenging times. Key improvements included location-based matches and compelling counsellor profile pages, with the aim of establishing a human connection even before the first consultation. The redesigned website became a user-friendly platform where individuals could easily find the information they needed while navigating a period of their life that often felt disorienting and stressful.
